@KiwiLiCiousx3 yes I understand :( it's really hard how everywhere I go I get those people who ask me why I limp of if they see my leg they look at me like I'm not a normal person. I wish the best for you though because I know what your going through, how old are you exactly?

@PicfarlandProduction Hi. yes. It is absolutely hard at 15. I'm really glad that even though I have KTWS, I'm able to hide it. I can't even bear the looking eyes, and the questions... and the embarassment of being called ugly or monster. Having this syndrome for me... growing up really thwarted my self esteem. I realize that I might never be able to experience normal things a teenage girl gets to do. And. It's. just sad.

My mother has this...it makes me wanna cry sometimes cause she is in so much pain! my mother also didn't know what she had till she was 28...my mother has never had surgery no doctor want to go near her legs because they are scared she might die if they try...her one leg is worse then the other...and it makes me so mad when people make fun of her legs! I am so sorry all of you have to go though this! My heart goes out to you!

@Xgamer437 hey I have it too, I also have it on my left side and I've had many surgeries to try and help but nuthing works. :( they are talking about stunting my growth and amputation alike, it's hard going through this at 15 years old.

I have the same condition buy it effects my left side. I see at least 10 different doctors and I've had 15 pulse dye laser surgeries and a knee surgery to remove my growth plates. My leg is now stunted and 3 cm shorter than my right leg.

hellow my name is leon gray i live in the far north of scotland i am born with KTS i am 17 years old does it get bad when you are older i heard it gives you blood clots when you are older i am trying to investigate what will happen i had a few blood tests done but i am ok for now just want to find out . i was in hosptal a few years ago getting tests done to in inverness.
