Its about damn time the news people take this for what it is. I was so sick of hearing how we are all just dumb red neck fools who are unaware of what America is. Because the Dems would love for you to believe that health care is major contributor to the poor economy. You do realize that insurance companies provide a substantial group rate to companies? If you want to get down to the nitty gritty, pharma companies and lawsuits drive up the cost of healthcare. I went to law schoold and worked as a paralegal and witnessed my fair share of frivolous lawsuits. You are aware that Obama received a huge campaign contributions from the Trial Lawyers Assoc?

Why is it so difficult for people to understand that the health care system is a major contributor to our economical issues and that fixing the health care system would go a long way in fixing the economy? I feel rage inside thinking that there's some other reason you don't want us to tackle this issue, like you're afraid that we'll get it right and it'll be when the ball is in the democrats' hands or something. and you'd rather democrats lose rather than health care gets fixed.

No one is arguing that the health care system in the US is totally expensive and not upt to par. But again I stress that fixing the economy has to take precedence. What good is starting up health care without completely supporting it financially.
