The laws of nature have been temporarily disabled due to the economic and scientific progress of homo sapiens. The consequence of this imbalance was the incredible population explosion we are seeing today. When natural resources run out due to overpopulation, the normal way mother nature is dealing with this problem is war and canibalism. The higher the population is overstreched to more have to die. We have the capability to avoid this by limiting our numbers ourselves.
