@hulaboycraig because, you have to be light enough to be thrown around like a rag doll. Even 80pds is heavy.. especially on roller skates. You are missing the point of it :P

@hulaboycraig as an aerial silk performer I have a little experience in this area. (not a lot but enough hehe) She is a little clumsy and her partner is having trouble controlling her weight. Watch the Aratas they are experts. The level of control is perfection. I dont think they did badly but she needs to be about 5 to 8 pds lighter and he needs a stronger core. All in all its a great routine, just not the level Id expect

I dont mean this as a slam on them, but the girl is a little chunky to be in this line of work. She is beautiful and thin, but you practically have to be anorexic.

haha, the Arata's can do that without the string and way faster without posing like its the 8th world wonder. im not saying this is really bad, its just not the best.

It was okay, it's clear Emilia and Victor (Arata) are the main competition to anyone in this kind of circus act, they are intense!. And they have invented a ton of tricks/stunts of their own. Their other brother is pretty good too, although not as comitted as Victor from what I understand. Their mother (carmen) is good too, a great teacher to them, no doubt!.
