They are dynamic balancing beads in first if your wondering. Couple of blasts with the EasyStart under the bead, spark up the excess, kick down so the ether within rim combusts, a tiny pop and the tyre is seated on the bead ready to be inflated. Tyres GREENWAY ANACONDA 235x85 16INCH on 8 spoke steel wheels for landrover defender 110.

  • How do those balance beads work????

Do they just find the point of imbalance when the wheel is up to speed each time you drive off? Interesting.

  • @DaedricLavaWhiskey

Beads are for balancing you could take them to a garage for balancing with lead weights on rim but you might as well get them to fit the tyre too! No idea about bike wheels - I wouldn't do this type of fitting for a fast road car nor bike, but maybe dirt bike?

  • Does this work with bike tires? are the beads necessary?
