I applaud your philosophy. I am a queer Christian and I am saved. Someone wrote that you didn't include scripture here but they are wrong. The entire Bible is filled with scripture about loving thy neighbor as thyself; about community, about acceptance of others and most importantly not to judge thy neighbor. That is God's task alone. David Letterman committed adultery several times over and he continues his daily life without reproach but gay people are still hated by many. Hypocrites abound.

Dear William, Thank you so much for the confirmation of faith and sexuality, too often our Religious communities and sibling force sexual minorities to choose between their sexuality and God. As a Christian leader myself from Nigeria, these are daily challenges for the LGBT communities, our families and friends. My testimony today is the grace and mercy of God for reconciliation and I share that love of God and the inclusive gospel of Jesus without reservation. Thanks for speaking out.

I respect & like your approach and agree with much of what u said. You mentioned that 'u don't rob/cheat/steal'...but just like those who do, u have the power of choice. I'm not gay/lesbian, but I have the choice 2 choose to become one. Like you said, each one will be rewarded. I learned that gay people will be accepted into the kingdom of God when I belonged to the Metropolitan Community Church. They quoted from Leviticus too. But taught the congregation that there are many passages in the Bible that contradict that word, "abomination". People think they understand the Bible but much of it remains a mystery even to scholars. Judge not lest ye be judged. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
