I voted for Mike Gravel!

Many states will not count write-ins and many will not count them if they are not "official write-in candidates". I love Gravel. Seriously. But Nader or McKinney would be the only choice left now. Nader will be on 45 ballots (including WA) and he has the best chance. Nader did give credit on his site to Gravel on the NI4d (after some prompting of course). But seriously, he's been just as trivialized as Gravel... His campaign has been very organized. And he stands for the right things.

I'm sorry, but this is not giving credit. It seemed like months before he even posted a link to the website. (This is not the type of thing you do accidentally.) I wish he were less strange about this, because there's a lot to like about him.

I talked to Nader in person. I don't think he is a bad guy, but I can't vote for him. Something doesn't sit right with me.

I live in Alabama, so my vote does not essentially "count" anyway. They can rip up the ballot in front of my face for all I care. All it will do is add more fuel to the fire. I plan to run for office to bring attention to the NI4D. I don't know how I'll do it yet, but it's burning inside me now. This is more about standing for principle than anything else. At the moment you feel demoralized, the people who have committed these injustices have won.

If anyone has material that would be appropriate for the gravel2008 channel, let me know. I don't want to see it die off and it will likely take a collective effort from video editors to keep it alive.

I believe there is no future in our violent system we have now. Mike Gravel helped me see it. We have to bleed the beast and from our own organizations outside of the state.

I'm so glad to see how many Gravel supporters are attempting to earn elected office seats these days. We need to just keep spreading the word about the NI4D. I'm working on people one person at a time. I'd be happy to see more elected officials that support it too. :-)

hey, this is ross. i'm on john murphy's channel. he's running for congress and endorsed by gravel, and supports the ni4d. if you could favorite one of his videos, or feature it, or something (i made them), that would be nice.

Hardly anyone talks about this. It drives me nuts. I am so fed up with this election. Nader avoids any mention of Gravel when he talks about the National Initiative. He practically takes credit for it in interviews. "What a brilliant idea from the Nader/Gonzales campaign!" Nader is not "our last chance." That attitude gets us nowhere. It's just another plea for borrowed time and hardly different from the Obama supporters.
