What particular doll would you suggest for a beginner? I've been looking into them for quite some time and would like opinions from more advanced collectors.

what song did you use in the background?

right...she looks like she want Aloe gel...but awesome job...looks just like a gently fried light skinned kiddie.

I think this is adorable! But I almost think she looks more sunburnt than sun-kissed, but this was an amazing video! Glad you turned your camera on ^^;
Do you actually wet the watercolor pencil when in use, or keep it dry? I can't tell. beautiful face-up! :D

On this doll I did not, partially because she was so small. Kaye Wiggs uses WC pencils as well and she applies the pencil then smudges each freckle with a damp q-tip in a swirling motion. If you are going to try this over pastel blushing and want to smudge them, you might want to spray the pastel layer first so not to mess it up.

Thank yo so much! I never worked on a doll in that size before. I didn't specifically plan to make the video, but decided to run the camera "just in case". The freckles were totally unplanned, but once I added them, I knew they were perfect for her!
