Yagisawa dam, Gunma, Japan, had a test discharge on 2008/06/15.

With hundreds of visitors watching on the sideroad, it started slowly with the volume about 6 tons/sec (-1:15), then adding the volume every 10 min (1:15-2:12, 2:12-2:38), eventually reached up to 40 tons/sec (2:38-).

This channel is capable to discharge up to 200 tons/sec. Under such volume, discharged water can reach over 50 meters.
