You know why it was corrupted though? The devil knows the POWER in the name of Jesus, and if he can rid the name, then he can rid the power. The devil ain't stupid! By ridding the PERSONAL name of God (Jesus), he can in turn make God "generic" because there are plenty false dieties that are F, S, and HS (triune). However there is ONLY ONE true and living God who's personal name is JESUS. Remember ppl we fight not against flesh and blood...let us put on the WHOLE armour of God (Eph 6:12-13)!

Was Jesus wrong in Matth28:19WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!JameS3:1 My bethren, be not many masters knowing we shall receive the GREATER CONDEMNATION.

WHY?A master means here, teacher, one who represents God and is authorized to teach his word through the spirit by Jesus Christ.

1John1:1 That which was from the beginning which we have HEARD.

What did they hear?

Heb 1:1 God spoke through the prophets in the O.T V:2 and speaks now to us through his son and rest of the chapter explains how he is better than the Angels

Therefore 2:1 we ought to give the more earnest HEED to the things which we have HEARD lest at any time we should let them slip.

Tell me where did the Apostles slip, forget or drifted from the words of the commission?

People forget that the words that comes out of Jesus's mouth is important and those words of Matth 28:19 are very clear.

John4:23 Jesus answered and said unto them, if a man love me, he will keep my WORDS (not what he meant)

1Timothy6:3-4

If any man teach otherwise (speaking of V1 and 2)and consent not to wholesome WORDS, evem the WORDS of our Lord Jesus.

If you reject the baptismal commission, then you reject his words.

If Jesus says apple

the Apostles say fruit

are they wrong? no

But did they obey the words of Christ not name or any formula.

I am not going by what the catholic changed or did but what did the bible say.
