Well, the SNES one is going to bore you if you are used to newer games. SO2 was the game that got me interested in RPGs, it has a lot of elements that have been copied (or maybe it shares) such as item creation, all kinds of leveling, etc. A very complete JRPG. SO3 is kind of a mixed bag, almost a ripoff of Skies Of Arcadia without ship battles. Kind of annoyed me. I would check out the second one first. Then the first. Then SO3 and newer ones last.
