I know everyone wants to see Leslie in Terabithia in the end but I just feel that if she had been there I would have been like, ah I knew...and I think that would have been too cheesy. The thing is, we hope she's there, but not seeing her makes us realise how childlike and unrealistic our thinking can be, and that hope overruns reason. And that is a good thing. Only those that grow up and remain children are human.

When I was in the 3rd grade there was a friend i used to play with. She and I would always meet up in the back of the play ground when school started every morning. One rainy morning I waited for her but she did not come. Our teachers were also late and were let in class by a janitor. The teacher finally came and told us that two girls were hit by a truck crossing the street to school one of them was my friend. later that day teacher told us she died. Sad memories. I think of her when I see this
