@claires40 Wow they lied to you. I worked for Fresh and Easy for 2 years. They are owned by Tesco not any employees. Tesco is the Walmart of the UK. Fresh and Easy has been sued for not paying workers money owed. They have also discriminated agains employees who want to form a union. You have been misinformed. The Union may not be good for everyone but it would certainly help Fresh and Easy employees. The employees arent refusing to go Union its Fresh and Easy that refuses to do what is right

Fresh & Easy is a great store. Quick,easy and good quality products. Unfortunately, they are being protested for refusing to go Union. The Unions are making lies about F&E. Truth: their employees are friendly, happy, and one even told me they are partial owners of the company. Unions hate what they can't control or take over.
