@skateNappreciate i think holy diver is over copied... when he did was supposed to be simple... not some 7/8 jazz beat and then an intense acoustic solo followed by a heavy 7/8 beat

after hearing heritage (the album) over and over, along with the two bonus tracks, im really curious why he didn't throw these in. one of the songs I really don't like on the album is Slither, I know it's a tribute for Dio, but it couldve been done so much better in my opinion, he shouldve done a cover of Holy Diver or something, THAT would be fucking sick

thank god i discovered this and "Pyre" before i got really dissapointed with the album, and turned away from it. The old OPETH is still in there somewhere.
