1010 #88 Indigenous Film "Promised Not to Cry" Nominated

The film describes the hardship the two kids experience during their journey. The performance of the two child actors has also impressed the judges of the Golden Bell Award. The film has won seven nominations for the mini series category, including Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Script, Best Director, Best Mini Series, Best Cinematography and Best Sound Effects. The music in the film includes the original sound track by Paiwan youth Baobu. The nominations are recognition of Umin Boya performance. Umin Boya hopes this recognition will attract more people to learn about the indigenous people and the issues in the communities.
