@cheggerspiderpig7 right thats true. I have the 8700M gt and that is the same as a 9650M GT. Slightly faster then 9600M GT

would starcraft 2 be able to play on the xps m1530? I got pretty much same specs as you except I have 1.67 ghz instead of the upgraded 2.2ghz.

is 8600m GT better than 8400M GS? (thats what i have) i wanna play aion, but i dunno if i can. i have a xps m1530 2.1ghz intel core2 duo. slightly overclocked my gpu. temps at 65 celsius. (should i push the overclocking a lil more?)

sure, even with the cheapest basic version with HD4850 it will run pretty good. I had the same Graphicscard and i was able to run all high on 1280x800 resolution.

except crysis, these games can be maxed if you overclock.
on cod4 i get around 35-40 fps, max detail settings @ 1280x800 (which is my native)
8600M GT clocked at 650/1350/900
temps around 85
i love this laptop! 4.5/5 easily! (i didnt get to upgrade my processor from the preset)

it will play them but not maxed

m1530 does the job for all of those. I'm not sure if they can all be ran on max graphics, but they for sure can be ran.

notebookcheck says that the radeon hd3670 is on performance like a 9500M GS.
The 9500M GS is exactly the 8600M GT only another name.
Maybe the ATI is a bit faster
