Poor Chimpanzees, they didn't even notice this wasn't as bad as being killed by a predatory animal in the wild, or dying from dehydration and hunger in the wild. Oh, but that's 'natural' of course.

It may not be pretty, but this is how we get life saving medications. I don't know about you, but this is a fair trade for the lives of human children. Think about it - the research done on these chimps may save your mother's life. Or your daughter's. Life isn't pretty or perfect. To me, it's a fair trade.

@SlickVick32 Chimpanzees have very few natural predators....their number one enemy BY FAR is the species, Homo Sapiens. I don't understand how your comment got nine thumbs up. Being killed by a predator in the wild would be preferable to me than being locked in solitary confinement and subjected to medical experiments for 40+ years.

I like the one on the right, it gets so nervous that chimp gets so nervous and worked up it shit's itself. I think the squeeze cage is a great idea. But I wonder if they tried just bribing with a bananna first.

These animals are so viscous. I've been too many instances where they have literally pulled the fact off a human being and eaten their hands.
