Most Lankans are a bit confused as Ravana was pre Sinhala.
It has not helped the Sinhala-Tamil confusion or the Arya-Dravida confusion!
The poor native Vaddha has been the worst effected.

ravan was great king but he fail to be ethical... tats y he saw his end in-spite of ppl advising him... ram great man defeated ravan on his own grounds.... now u sri lankans know what ram is capable....

@arnold Nothing was copied from Buddhism by Islam or Christianity. Buddhism is a much superior religion in terms of the philosophy involved and comparing it to Islam and Christianity is an insult to it.
