Worlds Fastest Guitarist - Marcus Paus

This is 17 year old Marcus Paus from Norway. Recorded in 1996.
His record is 28000 notes per minute or 466,6 notes per second.
For the Guiness record he played a scale sequence consisting of 112 notes on every beat in 250 BPM.

I don´t know if that is accurate, I only translated what he said.
This is not the record attempt and I don´t know how fast he played here.

step 1: move your pick as fast as you can across the strings.

step 2: slide you left hand random over the strings. it will make noise.

step 3: end with a high bend.

This guy is a classical composer now, his goal was not to be fastest, but you should see him play normal, I bet nobody in here can play better. This was a show thing in the 90's.

@Googlegnome this is some kinda new technik cause that girl jessica mannering or some like that she can do the same thing as marcus.. but they dont know what r they playing is just a beastial sound.. some like a chromatical sweap with a faster tremolo picking. as I say before its just a freaky technik that they cant understand what they hear.. they r not like shawn lane he can explain what he plays and speed it up..
