"There was no 'Bible' during the time of the Essenes, so to say 'no longer included' is to introduce a fallacious anachronism."
You Xtians sure like to get technical on some petty bullshit, all the while missing the EXTREMELY RIDICULOUS bullshit that is staring you in the face: The Garden of Eden, The Tower of Babel, and Noah's Ark. And, let's not forget Jesus, who is supposedly the same asshole of a god from the O.T. Your ancestors were conquered by assholes who forced this bullshit on them.

@lotanddaughters There was no "Bible" during the time of the Essenes, so to say "no longer included" is to introduce a fallacious anachronism. There was all manner of extrabiblical literature found in that cave, but the part this video is about is the accuracy of today's Bible compared to the parts of it that existed then (the Old Testament) that the Essenes utilized while they lived in Qumran.

@jshjamaar How dare are we to question what in Gods mind, it is beyond any humans concern. Its up to God to decide when he sees fits it, if he want to reveal the truth or not and we cannot simply just have exactly how we wanted things to be no matter what we do its a burden already inscribed in our destiny right before we first breath into this world, thats why we are destined to to commit mistake.

KEY POINT -The main god of Christian mythology is a stupid fucking asshole, but he is somehow able to create an entire fucking universe.
KEY POINT -The main god of Christian mythology has a really important message that he wants all of his children to know, but for some reason he fails to deliver the message in a way that everybody understands. Some people have lived ENTIRE LIVES without EVER hearing this message. The others that DO hear can't agree on what the message actually is.

God's hand can be seen in history of the Bible. EG. like others before and after, devout reformist Martin Luther wanted to strip away books he believed heretical (James and Revelation from the NT). Yet he didn't succeed. We still have the Matthew to Revelation just like the early Christians. KEY POINT -Scrolls date the Jewish Bible BEFORE CHRIST yet so much of the post-history regarding the Jews, Israel and Christianity is present in these ancient words. Strange coincidence?

@lotanddaughters In 2 Timothy 3:16-17 it says that "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." Man didn't just pick what to include in the Bible but God spoke through the authors of the BIble and uses the Holy Spirit through them.
The Dead Sea Scrolls include some books that are no longer included in the Bible. This is because MAN chose what to include and omit, just as MAN chose which words were used to compose the Bible in the FIRST place.
