MARC BOLAN OF T.REX says 'hello' to my Mother !

2 April 2009 — Later that night, after The Floral Hall T.Rex concert at Southport (nr Liverpool) 1976
I and a few other fans sat and talked with Marc Bolan at The Clifton Hotel in the Lounge.
We had a great night and many laughs with Marc, he was so funny.
After everyone had left to catch last trains home etc, I stayed longer and chatted to Marc for about an hour longer, eventually it was getting late, and finaly it was time to say goodnight. I shook hands with him and we both wished each other a good night and off he went with Gloria Jones, to his room.
Steve Currie the T.Rex Bass Player let me sleep on his room floor! as I had chosen to stay and chat to Marc rather than catch a train!!
The following morning we saw Marc and everyone off in the coach and said our goodbyes as they left to go onto the next UK concert.
The following year,
Marc was killed in a Car crash.
