Hi flexurmind. It's still important in that situation, since you're forcin' them to make bad plays. Even though you KNOW they're goin' to call no matter what, you would still make the play to make a profit in the long run. The pot odds justifies this since you only need to win fewer hand than you lose. Therefore don't be scared of bettin' out even though you know they'll call. Just take advantage of their chasin' ;)
@flexurmind Well if the limits prevent you from betting the pot you have to bet as much as you can to give them the worse odd possible however they will still be making the right decision by calling. However if there are no limits and you know they're going to call betting more than the pot will further decrease their odds. e.g if you bet twice the pot their odds are now 3:2
At the 4:50 Phill tells that with the siziinng of the bet we can manipulate pot odds, and thus getting way drawing hands when we get the goods. Ok i totatlly agree, but imagine ur playing very low cash limits/tournaments with players that are very loose and go after tha draw with most any size of bet, how does the pot odds are importante in this situatin? and how would u play?
really quick call... hmmm... i put the kid on... a flush draw maybe a straight draw but im going with flush draw i dont think he has top pair or a set or overpair

@dayjun the goal is not to make draws fold but to make them PAY a bad price

@flexurmind when you bet full pot u give them bad odds to call with a draw, so over the long run it is +expected value
