Wow, what an engrossing set of replies! All I gotta say is-- Bugs Bunny and other Looney Tunes characters made fun of EVERYBODY. They were equal opportunity make-fun-of-whoever. They made fun primarily of Canuks in this cartoon, and after they were made to stopp offending blacks, Yosemitie Sam and Elmer Fudd are caricatures of whites, not to mention Foghorn Leghorn being a caricature of white southerners, so for those that get incensed by a fun, harmless cartoon like this- wah....

This makes us racist? But having The Black Entertainment Channel, TV shows that has ALL black people except one white guy who is ALWAYS shown as being stupid, Movies like White Girls, sayings on TV shows like, "I'm a strong black man" all of THAT isn't racist?!?! BULLSHIT!!!!!!!

you guys aren fighting over a 50 year old bugs bunny cartoon......thats excellent. Watching some of the greatest cartoons (Classic Bugs Bunny) ever made and seeing that people are actually arguing over them, put me in a much better mood! I thank all of you for entertaining me for a few minutes. Im going back outside now, I suggest you all do the same.

I will argue that elmer fudd was definitely originally black just type in "All This and Rabbit Stew" and tell me you dont see the similarities there. I ain't talkin shit about Mel Blanc im not mad or nothin cuz like homeboy said they made fun of everybody I just though they might have changed some of these characters like yosemite to not piss no one off ..... or not i dont know .
