Game of the World

The Game of the World is a spiral of stones created by Jan Olsson on July 2, 2010 for the Fourth Free International Forum curated by Lucrezia de Domizio Durini at the Piantigione Paradise in Bolognano, Italy. It takes the form of the "Escargot", a traditional French hopscotch game. The red stones represent the life force of nature. The spiral of stones turns and returns from "tierra" to "cielo", from earth to sky, following the eternal cycle of our souls as they pass from one life to the next.
