@timebandit75577575 the vehemence is from the mouths of drunks and addicts who dont want anything coming in between them and a drink or drug. Or misunderstanding, people think that everyone is the same - I got sober without AA, you should be able to as well. - which is not true of course, some people have an allergy some dont.

Aa isnt for people who want it or need it, it is for people who do it. I don't understand why there is so much vehemence against it on these boards, it is just a microcosm of the bigger world. Good and bad people in it, just trying to better there lives.
