His hand is probably on the mouse a lot because he is clipping and shortening footage and his hand is in the lower left corner of the keyboard cause he's using keyboard shortcuts.

This is informative. Good points are made. My only suggestion would be to mic your subjects with a proper external (lav or shotgun). The bad audio takes away a great deal.

In the time lapse his fingers seemed to stay in the lower left of the key board and I was surprised how much the mouse seemed to be in his hand.
