    Not yet, however I am fairly confident it is the coupling which connects the selector rod to the shaft going into the tranny. There is a little sponge in there and when it degrades, this play is the result. I'm hoping to replace it some time in the near future, however you need to drop the exhaust and drive shaft otherwise it's a PITA, so I wanted to wait until I purchased my exhaust.
