Nose work started out as a sport for us, but it's turned into a daily activity. Eddie demands that we practice on every walk and again in the evening when I get home from work. It's just a great game to occupy his mind.
Thanks for another great video! And thanks for introducing me to nose work. Jonah & I are going to give this a try. I think he will do well. He has alerted me to all sorts of critters, even a snake, that I had no idea was lurking under my sofa! Recently he was obsessed by a corner of the fence, on examination, there was a dead mouse on other side. He is always communicating with me but in the past I did not take time to understand the signals and how valuable his talents are !
Yes, Julie. I hide the odor and tell him to seek. In a competition, judge hides odor and neither me nor Eddie know where it is. Google K9 Nose Work to learn more.

Is this "hide & seek"? Do you place the odor for him to find? ~Julie
