Thanks for posting this!! I may have been at this show- I saw them twice in that era. Man- this is just some of the best music ever played, IMHO. I love the percussive stuff Emmons is doing toward the end. And of course, everything else he does...I think he was playing through an MXR phase 90.
Two of the greatest genre-defying musicians of their day. Good stuff. I bet that they were more familiar with the 1938 Tommy Dorsey pop cover (and its followups over the intervening years) than they were with RImsky though.
This is supposed to be late december, all of them look like it's sometime in summer.

bass player is Steve Wolf...(pretty sure) from the Redneck Jazz Explosion....This whole show was released on CD awhile back...I highly reccomend it!
