Dozens of protesters shouted and danced at the gate of a nuclear power plant as it restarted Sunday, the first to go back online since Japan shut down all of its reactors for safety checks following the Fukushima nuclear disaster. (July 1)

Full disclosure: Japan has had energy deficiency problems ever since the disaster because nuclear supplied so much of their power. Did you ever think maybe THAT'S why they'returning them on? To have some damn electricity?

I don't know whether to like this because I agree with the protesters or thumbs down ... confusing. They don't need it. We are still getting some of their radiation over here and in the ocean (fish).

For mine, Alex Jones is good entertainment value, but I'm not sure that his information is always accurate, or even rational. Thx!
To me, it's pretty obvious we live in the shadow of self serving governments that lean heavily toward fascistic practices. Unfortunately, many people are unable to recognise flawed, irrational, self serving and/or politically motivated arguments. Instead, many people embrace and recklessly echo them at every opportunity. Critical thinking is needed most, IMO.

Thank goodness for progress because the protestors believe that these renewable resources will save a power hungry country.

I used to work with a fellow from Keio University who is a leading academic in chaos theory. His research benefited wind generation at point of use. So, wind turbines on commercial high rise and homes. Power companies like TEPCO didn't support such research for obvious reasons. It's not technology we lack, it a level and fair playing field as corporations currently act in a psychopathic manner. Corporations need to made to have a conscience, I believe.

Why hasn't the media been covering the massive protest against this restart.
Personally, I think you'd need to be insane to still support nuclear energy.
Industry and money rules the world. People just don't have any say.
Perhaps it's only the guillotine (so to speak) that can stop these mad power-mongers.
