Railway bridge demolition in Tervajoki

Here we had to remove the old top of the bridge, so only the sides are remaining. The 40-60cm thick concrete deck had to be removed by cutting and hammering, then about 30 80mm holes 50cm deep had to be drilled and the top of the sides leveled for the new precast elements. All this had to be done in just a few hours!!
The total time for the bridge reneval was only 25 hours, after that a fine of 10000€/h would start running. the bridge reneval was done in about 20 hours, the demolition part was estimated to 5 hours.
