  • You know why I love DCFC? They are the garage band's dream come true, and I say that with total respect. They are the ideal American band. They went from just two poor guys in a dorm room to having the #1 album in the country, and they did it just by loving what they do and working hard at it. It took a long time, but they found success. If that's not enough, they're still able to make great music while being the best of friends. They live the life every musician wants. It's totally inspiring.

  • I personally love all of death cabs albums i really think that every album is as good as the last. I think narrow stairs was a daring step for them and it was not typical death cab but it was still fantastic. I really listen to the words that death cab sings and they have drastically improved over the years and narrow stairs is just a cd of PURE poetry so i absolutely love it. just my opinion. Love this song too!

  • Walla's jump at 3:45 gives me goosebumps every time. For a man who's always so well reserved, seeing him that worked up over a track really stands out.

  • Zero dislikes. I like that, alot.

  • @pashpotter

    standard tuning

  • my fav song

  • I wonder do they miss those songs, cause none of the "women" in the audience seem to know it

  • what is bens guitar tuned toooooooooo?

  • @slackersnail well, technically they began in a house on Ellis Street.

  • FUCKING AWESOME.

  • @Lueseiseki I know what you mean, in most parts of the album version, they never really got that fullness of sound like they did here

  • i like it much better, the studio version doesnt have the same energy to it
