  • The Lord doesn't care about tone, vibrato, and singing other levels besides LOUD. He's glad that we are praising him and that is all that matters.

I am a professional Musician who is also formally educated. A lot of what you are referring to is more a matter of culture than it is technical correctness.

This is GOSPEL Music, dear. From our perspective, this IS the right way to sing it. And from the perspective of most in the Gospel community, too much prim and proper tone, vibrato and formality very sadly detracts from the power, magnitude and raw expressiveness of Gospel Music and the culture it represents.

  • God Bless those young people for doing a great job. Stay encouraged and continue to allow God to use you in a mighty way. God Bless and keep you close to him

  • SORRY I've made a mistake I want to vote 5stars... but I click on 2... GOD BLESS YOU Keep On Singing for THE LORD!!!!!!!!

  • saaaaang children! Stay encouraged, no matter what the haters (who no doubt cant sing a lick) says...keep singing your praises to the ONLY one who matters... The Lord!

  • I amen the the last comment from peachfoot to annaheartsatx. This music is awesome!! Who cares whether it's loud or low or anything else. The young people are praising and worshipping God in their own way and He (MY GOD) is edified with just that. To any others out there, that does not understand or care not to understand heartfelt worship and adoration towards God, you are no brother or sister in Christ of mine.

....further more, if you don't prefer it, you are not obligated to listen to it. So do what you gotta do. But try to refrain from imposing YOUR personal, prideful, critical and very biased opinions upon others.

Ain't nobody holdin' a gun to yo head or payin' you to listen to something you don't like......So go on somewhere and take your comments with you..............BYE!

......besides that, these are college kids who are doing the best they can. NO, it's not perfect. But it is sincere and "God", as you've so krassly referred to Him below in your comment, is primarily interested in the HEART of the Worshiper and far less in the technical precision of the "performer."
