Sixteen-year-old Alex Simpson has always loved dancing to legendary pop star Michael Jackson's music, and yesterday, he and dozens of other people took to Target, and busted a move to the Halloween-themed "Thriller" to raise money for cancer research.

A student at Franklin Arts Academy at Franklin High School, Simpson learned the "Thriller" choreography from watching the original video, which featured Jackson leading a gaggle of zombies in a midnight dance number.

The purpose of the worldwide event is to raise money for local or not-for-profit charities, which in this case, was the American Cancer Society.

The dance number raised $634, which Cumberland Farms will match, bringing the total up to almost $1,270.
