Each sniper is good if the good snipers. I have used RT 20 M1 to the tactical sniper rifle large caliber 110x20 mm and can tell you that it is very deadly.

@valiant2050 You're missing my point. I'm referring to .308 as a cartridge, not a bullet. 7.62 x 51mm is also commonly known as the .308 (commercial variant). 7.62 x 39 is not. If you say .308, 99.99% of people will think you're referring to the .308 Winchester.
You don't refer to a cartridge based solely on the caliber of the bullet. If he had said, "this is a .30 caliber bullet" it would've been fine. He didn't. He said, "this is THE .308".

@AngryPrawn 308 and 7.62 is the same caliber, just the AK uses a 39mm case not a 51mm case!!
