Kelly Rowland in Kenya, Africa

Ms Kelly Rowland, former Destiny Child member recently visited the Mother Land - Kenya. Kelly who was appointed as the Special Ambassador to MTV's Staying Alive foundation is on a mission to empower young people who are protecting themselves and their communities against HIV and AIDS.

She has been traveling around Africa, where she is to make various marked stops in South Africa, Ghana, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya and Angola. Her objective is to visit the Staying Alive Foundation grand recipients and grassroots projects supported and funded by the Foundation.

And What better way to usher her debut in Africa through stopping over Kenya and promoting this worthy cause.

While in Nairobi - Kenya, she visited the Kenyatta National Hospital and got herself tested at the VCT center. One of my good friends Chao Tolle who also works for MTV's TRL Radio show, had the opportunity to meet her and interview her. Other organizations privy to this well coordinated event included the Positive youth Initiative Group who organized an offset for her to talk to some youth - where as I understand she was an angel in disguise.
