Burma, once one of the richest countries in Asia, has been steadily deteriorating for the past 4 decades. The Burmese military junta, one of the most repressive in the world, is charged with countless crimes against humanity. The people of Burma are forcefully recruited into the army and ordered to work without pay for the government.

  • Wat can we do?

  • beyond analyzing the video, it's more important to do something for Burma's suffering people.

  • your pictures were graphic-which is important. we can see how much these people have and are suffering. and the interview part with the man was insightful

  • Dear Students, We see many photos of battered and dead children but don't know what happened to them. Were they fighting? If so, what military campaign? We're told they're working but don't know what kinds of jobs children are being forced to do. The interview gave a first hand account but it was with a young adult male and not a child. Your introduction was good but the conclusion was vague. Best regards, Mrs. White SAS Teacher
