@xxpoonednoobxx Omg you are totally wrong. There weren;t any bulgars in Kievan Rus. Slavic tribes of polyans, drevlyans, ulichis, krivichis e.t.c and no bulgars. Kievan Rus was created with th help of Vikings of Rurik and all kings in Rus was from his dynasty. Mongols didn't occupie Rus phisically, they just controlled it economically. Mongols didn't capture many cities, hovewer those cities payed tax to them. Mongols didn't settle anywhere.

@Gwynnfevar Well I agree that Rus has viking origins also, but the ethnonym Russian is due to the Bulgarians calling those people 'Rus' which means blond. But anyways Kievan Rus is not Russia, it is Ukraine. The first Russian state is the Feodal Republic of Novgorod.

Rus was created by union of slavic tribes and vikings from Sweden of Rurik who used a Dnepr river in Ukraine to trade with Bysantine. All Rus and than russian kings had his roots.

Some future changes we can expect: FYROM to Bulgaria, Kosovo/Montenegro/Republika Srpska to Serbia, Federation of Bosnia & Herzegovina to Croatia, Moldova to Romania, Belarus/Ukraine/Transnistria/K­azakhstan to Russia, Scottish independence , North Ireland to Ireland, Welsh independence, Basque independence, Catalonian independence, Galician independence, Belgium split between Netherlands and France, Luxembourg/Austria to Germany, Sardinian/Sicilian/Corsican independence.

@xxpoonednoobxx I´m certain the Croatians, Bosnians, Slovienians, Serbs ( Hungary historicly had Belgrade, BTW), Romanians, Polish ( Krakow, even better), and some Moravians I think, would hate to be ruled by Budapeste, despise not any of was fully part of Mid-Medieval Hungary. But Croatia was like 90%. If Italy anexed Venice´s part in the region like 4% of current Croatia would still be Croatian.
