Endeavor College Prep

5% of profits from sales of The PHD Movie will go towards supporting Endeavor College Prep, a non-profit charter school aimed at helping kids from low-income communities in East Los Angeles set their sights on a college education. The movie's writer and creator, Jorge Cham, is a founding board member of the school. ECP was recently named a 2012 California Distinguished School by the California Department of Education, an award that honors some of California's "most exemplary and inspiring public schools." Schools selected for the 2012 Distinguished School Award demonstrate significant gains in narrowing the achievement gap.
