Please forgive my ignorance - Are strong people able to remove these groins/groynes - are they concreted together or can they be taken apart? Nobody owns the ocean, you all have every right to remove them.
It is heartbreaking having witnessed some of the destruction that has taken place in other parts of the island just in the space of a few years. I fear what will happen if development is not stopped.
