  • It's heartbreaking seeing and hearing Carl do this; truly, the last time he sang all the way through a live performance. The sense of loss is just overwhelming. Carl you are so greatly missed. You were the Heart of The Beach Boys, and without you, that heart just isn't there any longer. Wolfsky9

  • It's really a crying shame that he left us so so soon.

  • Carl sounds fabulous singing this song. It's the first time that I've heard this song by him. They say only the good die young and that must be true because Carl was the best and he was taken way too young. He is very missed.

  • @75DrummerBoy Who gives a shit about touring when Brian wrote, arranged, and produced all of the Beach Boys greatest material? They would have never been famous without him, period. The others were talented in their own right (except Mike), but none of them were genius like Brian. He was the driving force behind the, and who's material do you think the LIVE TOURING band were playing, genius? You must be new to the Beach Boys to not understand this shit.

  • @FuckingStanz

Brian was hardly ever an actual touring member of The Beach Boys. Which Here makes it Mike, Carl, Al and Bruce's band! It wasn't a one man show Brian's music would have never sounded the same or been a hit without the Beach Boys name or voices on the albums!

  • @75DrummerBoy I call the Beach Boys 'BRIAN WILSON'. Listen to the "Beach Boys" of the 60s and then the 80s version, if you can't tell the difference nor pinpoint the difference to Brian vs Mike, then you fail.

  • @FuckingStanz

What do you call the Beach Boys then just curious Al, Carl, Mike and Bruce are standing on that stage what more do you want???????? Being Carl Wilson is one year away from his death he still sounds as great as ever!!!

    RIP CARL!

  • @steamingpoopfart Harmonically and melodically and perhaps even sonically, they shit all over the Beatles. Although what you're watching isn't what I'd call the Beach Boys. This is the Mike Love experience. Listen to the 1966 version of this song.

  • they got nothin on the beatles bitches
