Basically I think it is a Breach of due process of law...

They're pretty much stating, "Though it may not be that big of a deal to pop some shrooms and stare at your couch for 15 minutes. But, you just might drive so we ought to punish you for it!"

Punishing someone before they break a actual law, is plain silly.

People always use DRIVING as a excuse to ban these substances, but do people REALLY get into the mood to drive while they are Hallucinating?

Is it moral to punish someone who DOESN'T drive while under the influence because of those who do? I don't think so..

In instances where the person is on probation, I understand..

One of my friends got a no drink, because of a DWI..

HOWEVER, obviously the only way to get caught for a no drink, is to get caught IN THE ACT.

As marijuana lasts in the sytem for weeks..

So of course if he is at a party he is going to be less concerned about alcohol!

I would say I feel baffled by those who drink to excess, but say they don't do drugs, and diss marijuana when I offer them a puff.
