Kawasaki "So Far So Fast" video features the 1973 24 hour endurance record on the Kawasaki Z1 at Daytona. Features rider Yvon Duhamel.

This is one segment from the restored video player " Kawasaki Good Times Theatre". The Good Times Theatre video players were used at Kawasaki dealerships in the 1970's for customer viewing on the showrooms.

This restored video features great Kawasaki moments from the mid to late 1970's. Audio quality on the restored video is fair, but clearly understandable. This is a great piece of Motorcycle History. Hope you enjoy it.

  • Thank you for this and part 2.

Have one of these Z1900s' that has been sitting in my garage for a few years because of some friends that were in a bad accident years back and other various reasons.

Watching this changed my mind from selling it to getting it back on the road.

Time for mine to come out of retirement!!!

  • God this is great , so much memories.

Thank you so much for posting this.

  • Had a 1972 Z-1 way back in high school, went from a Suzuki 100 to the 900 Z-1, what a jump. Absolutely the fastest thing on two or four wheels back in my town in '82. Never lost a race until a guy showed up back in town from the AMA in Florida with his 1300cc Kaw with a huge turbo, my reign was over. Fast and I never had a complaint with handling, still the most fun I ever had on a motorcycle, nothing sounds like a Z.

  • No 17, Yvon Duhamel
