Never was there a song and a singer so intertwined that they become one. Judy always nails this song.. no matter what shape her voice is in. She never spoofed this song or The Wizard of Oz. They should retire this song so that no one else sings it. No one ever can do justice to it besides Judy. This was writtten specifically for Judy and if she wasnt to play Dorothy then Harold Arlen and E.Y Harburg wouldn not have let MGM use it for The Wizard of Oz. True fact..
