This popular Bay Area organization boasts diverse membership, welcoming members from all backgrounds. Whether theyre artists, lawyers, mothers or scientists, all Flaming Lotus Girls share two things in common: a desire to get their hands dirty, and a love of all things flammable. And the Flaming Lotus Girls are not alone; countless women welded during WWII, and today a new generation of women welders is picking up the torch.

art can be defined very simply, the craft that makes the beholder happy, it needn't impress anybody. Van Gogh didnt sell a single painting in his life. in the end anything can be art to somebody

Art includes doing research, science, and experiments. Art like any other field is getting involved in areas and degrees of the scale dimension outside the human bubble

and it is about changing the own body structure (I like to reduce it to the neuronal structure) by interacting with something else than just other persons.
