The reason why Netflix put a price hike on it's service is so people would move away from DVD's and go to streaming so they can focus more on improving streaming. Why do you think they didn't raise the price on streaming and just DVD's?

sorry to tell you this they are cutting the company in half so they can kill it off in 6 months you may not see dvd mailed (Qwikster ) many companys did this before (this in my opeion is bad becouse most movies companys wont let you streem for 4 months untell they get every last dime out of the dvd sales (exception are indpendent films and tv shows)
