A longtime police veteran at Buffalo State College is accused of killing a woman whose burned body was found on an Orleans County roadway, Orleans County sheriff's officials reported. Richard J. McKeon Jr., 48, of West Valley, was held without bail in Orleans County Jail following his arraignment on second-degree murder charges in Barre Town Court, Orleans County... McKeon is accused of killing 47- year-old Maureen S. Migliore. The two shared the same West Valley address... Sheriff's officials, who considered the woman's death "suspicious" from the onset, were unable to identify her immediately. They released a description later Friday and made an identification over the weekend... Authorities were tight-lipped Sunday, saying only that McKeon had been charged in Migliore's death... The relationship between McKeon and Migliore remained under investigation by Orleans County authorities...
