  • I believe it's called "Moonlight"

  • did torchwood start AFTER his 1st appearnce in doctor who?

  • yes. Jack first appears in the last five episodes of S1 of Dr Who.

Torchwood S1 is taking place at the same time as S3 of Dr Who.

He "disappears" at theend of S1 of Torchwood...and is seen rejoining with the doctor during the last 3 eps of S3 of DW.

  • Thanks, Q; appreciate your taking the time to answer my questions. You're racking up good karma somewhere. This will probably sound nuts to you, but the *hand* Jack carries, almost like some bizarre security blanket... I couldn't help but flash back to that great b/w horror film, "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte," where Betty Davis carried around a beautiful music box containing (she thinks) her dead lover's hand. Obviously a romantic gesture that knows no time boundaries.

  • ah the hand...it's his doctor detector. LOL

  • Is this the first time Jack makes an appearance on Doctor Who? And which episode comes next? John Barrowman puts a glamour on Captain Jack that really ups the ante on Who! Qaffangyrl, you're a treasure for putting these up. One more thing; is there an episode that shows, explains, whatever Rose did so that Jack can't die? Thanks.

  • yes! this was the first appearance of Capt Jack. Watch the other clips I've put up and I believe you'll find hte answer about rose bringing jack back. The doctor explains it to him when Jack comes back to DW in S3

  • John is the hottest man ever, and has an amazing personality to match.

  • I love this. The olden days before Dr Who and TW became greek tragedy.

Poor Jack. So young and ignorant of his terrible fate. He was better off as a coward!
