makes me miss melton.i lived there all my life until 2003.now in lisburn northern ireland.you know anybody that has videos of live shots of melton from the past?old newsreels,videos etc?interests me a lot

Hi Nick. The manager of Melton's Regent Cinema discovered some old cine film of Melton shot - I think - in the 1920s. He gave it to an organisation that looks after this kind of film. I asked them if could use a bit on my Melton DVD and they quoted me thousands of pounds. So now it lies in some vault, never to be seen again :o(
