For Sam -.- NOBODYWATCHESTHISLALALALA.
--
I knew he was coming over by me, so I slowly turned away, not wanting to make more eye contact. So that I looked like I was actually doing something productive, I took a sip of the water I just bought. By the time I had the cap secured back on, he was standing right behind me. I didnt even have to turn around to know it. I could feel the presence of him standing this close. I took a quick glance down at my left wrist.
I can't do this, I thought. No attachments.
As I was thinking this, I also realized that he didn't know I knew he was there, since I'd never turned around and actually saw him standing there. Plus, he hadn't actually vocalized anything yet. He was just there.
I didn't have to stay. I knew that, so I took a step.
That's when he finally spoke, his voice almost haunting.
"You know, I've been nothing but nice to you since you got here. And you just ignore me." I still hadn't turned around. "I noticed you dropped your keys, so I picked them up and gave them to you, and you acted like a major bitch. I also offered to show you around." He had. On the second day before lunch. He asked if I was getting around okay and when I didn't respond quick enough, he said he would help me figure this place out. I, of course, rejected that idea. This is the point where I turned around to face him. "When you shot that one down, I decided I should probably give up."
I just stared at him.
When I didn't say anything back, he shook his head and continued. "You're so confusing."
"I'm a girl. It's what we do," was my reply.
"Not a normal one."
Umm...? "Wow. Thank you."
Even in the dark of the night, I could see his eyes rolling. "I didn't mean it like that. I just meant most girls are all over me. If I would've done those things for anyone else, they'd never leave me alone again."
"Sorry I'm not some obsessively annoying bitch."
He started to say something. What it was, I don't know. I was already too many steps away.

By now, I'd been at this stupid fair for a little over an hour. There's supposed to be fireworks at 10:30. Yippie!! Fucking girls piss me off.
Also, I still have no ride home. I don't even know why I'm here. I've seen Lucy with her friends a few times, and every time she either doesn't see me, or just laughs completely. The two girls she's always with, Cari and Jenn, have been giving me death glares all night.
By 9:15, I couldn't take it anymore. I had to get out of this place. The car ride from Lucy's house wasn't that far, and we had only made a few turns after we got out of her neighborhood. I could probably figure out how to get back there. My parents would probably be at there house for a little while longer, so I could just stay there with them until they left. I didnt want to call them though, because I didn't want to interrupt their night.
I was walking through the parking lot to get to the main road, when I ran into someone. I don't know where this person came from, and I didn't know who it was. They just popped up in the middle of the parking lot.
"Sorry," I said. Then I moved around the figure and was about to continue on my journey.
Then the figure called out my name. "Kallie." It was Kurt. I knew it.
"What do you want now?" I'm getting so sick of this guy.
"Where are you going?" He asked me.
"Why is that your business?"
"Its not."
I sighed. "I'm going to try to find my way to Bitch Lucy's house."
"Why the hell would you go there? Lucy's here." No shit.
"I know. My parents are there with her parents and she brought me here but she won't give me a ride home because she hates me—"
"Because of me."
"Yeah you've mentioned that many times. Anyways, she won't give me a ride home and I don't have one so I'm just going to try to find my way there. So... If you don't mind, I really need to get there before my parents leave or I'll never get home."
He was silent for a second. What is with him? "I'll give you a ride."
It was dark, so I knew he wouldnt be able to see anything. I quickly looked at my wrist. Then I said, "I'll be fine."
"You're not staying for the fireworks?"
"I don't really like crowds. Where are your friends?"
"Who knows. Hooking up with girls most likely."
"And why aren't you?"
"Is that really the kind of guy you think I am?"
"Yeah, it is." This was mainly true, in fact. He said it himself everyone wants him. Chances are he wants them too. He is a guy, after all.
Even in the dark, I could see him shaking his head. "Come on, I'll give you a ride."
Very silently, I replied, "Okay," and followed his lead to his truck.
